Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled TIG & ARC Welder to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts using TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding processes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG and ARC welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required. Read and understand drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication plans. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal parts before welding. Ensure welds meet quality standards (no cracks, porosity, or defects). Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good condition. Conduct repair and maintenance welding on damaged structures or equipment. Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times. Clean, grind, and finish welded joints as needed. Report material issues, defects, or unsafe conditions to supervisor. Requirements / Qualifications Proven experience as a TIG & ARC Welder. Ability to weld in different positions: 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G (preferred). Good knowledge of welding machines, electrodes, filler rods, and gases. Ability to work from technical drawings. Strong understanding of workplace safety and welding standards. Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments. Preferred Skills Welding certification is an advantage (if available). Experience in fabrication, piping, structural steel, or heavy equipment welding. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Teamwork and communication skills.
